Jordi Codina Rodriguez is a third choice Spanish goalkeeper for the Spanish and European champions Real Madrid. Although he was born in the Catalan city of Barcelona, Codina graduated from the youth system at Real Madrid.
Codina joined Real Madrid Castilla (the youth team of Real Madrid) in 2002 after spending some time with the youth team at Espanyol Barcelona. Codina developed rapidly at Real Madrid Castilla and made his debut in the Segunda Division in the 2005-2006 season against Sporting Gijon.
At the start of the 201-2008 season, Jordi Codina was promoted to the senior Real Madrid side and is now the third choice at the Santiago Bernabeu after Iker Casillas and Jerzy Dudek.

Codina joined Real Madrid Castilla (the youth team of Real Madrid) in 2002 after spending some time with the youth team at Espanyol Barcelona. Codina developed rapidly at Real Madrid Castilla and made his debut in the Segunda Division in the 2005-2006 season against Sporting Gijon.
