Javier Balboa

Javier Angel Balboa Osa is an Equatorial Guinean international footballer currently featuring for the Spanish and European giants Real Madrid. He is a graduate of the fames Real Madrid youth system and is currently with the first team.

Balbao is essentially a midfielder but has already gathered quite a name for himself as a winger. He arrived at Real Madrid Castilla in the summer of 2005 and was sent out on loan to Racing Santander for the 2006-2207 season for whom he impressed in the 30 matches he played that season.

At the start of the 2007-2008 season, Javier Balbao was recalled to the Real Madrid first team but has made only limited appearances for the club. Balboa is also an international player and plays for Equatorial Guinea and has featured twice for his country.
