Ever Banega is considered one of the best young central midfielders in the sport of soccer. The 19-year plays for the Spanish first division side Valencia whom he joined in January of 2008 and has already carved out a name for himself in La Liga despite his young age.

Banega is a graduate of the famous Boca Juniors youth academy and made his proessional debut in the month of February, 2007 against Banfield, a game which Boca comfortably won 4-0.

Almost one year later after marshalling the Boca Juniors midfield with ease and aptitide and leading them to the Copa Libertadores triumph, Banaga made a 18 million euro transfer to Valencia on a five and a half year contract. He made his debut in Spanish football against Atletico Madrid in Janury this year and has since been an important figure for his club.

Banega is already a full Argentine international at the tender age of 19. He made his debut against Guatemala on February 6, 2008 and actually started the match. He won the FIFA U-20 World Cup with Argentina in 2007.
