Cristobal Huet is a French goalie on the Chicago Blackhawks.
Huet was drafted by Los Angeles in 2001, and served mainly as a backup on the struggling Kings. In 2004, he was traded to Montreal, and after the lockout, he emerged as a top-caliber netminder. He helped the Canadiens reach the playoffs in 2006, where they were eliminated by the eventual Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes. In 2008, he was dealt to Washington at the trade deadline, but the Capitals were bounced from the playoffs in the first round by the Flyers.
Huet signed with Chicago as a n unrestricted free agent in July of 2008.
