Aly Cissokho

Aly Cissokho is a French football player of Malian descent who currently features for the Italian powerhouse AC Milan. He plays as a left-back.

Aly Cissokho commenced his professional club football career at the French second division club FC Gueugnon and made his debut for the club on the last match of the 2006-2007 season. He signed a three-year contract after that but at the end of the 2007-2008 season signed a three-year deal with the Portuguese first division club Vitoria de Setubal. In January 2009 he was signed by Portuguese giants FC Porto for 300,000 euros and came into the limelight against Manchester United in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League in which he negated star player Cristiano Ronaldo over both legs.

In the summer of 2009 Aly Cissokho was signed by Italian giants AC Milan for 15 million euros.
