Edin Dzeko

Edin Dzeko is a Bosnian international football player who currently features for the German champions Vfl Wolfsburg. He plays as a striker and is one of the most wanted strikers in European football.

Edin Dzeko commenced his professional club football career at Bosnian club FK Zeljeznicar and played for them between 2003 and 2005, scoring 5 goals in 40 league matches. In 2006 Dzeko moved to FC Teplice and played for them until 2007, scoring 16 goals in 43 league appearances.

In 2007 Dzeko was signed by German side VfL Wolfsburg for 4 million euros and immediately settled in. He was a huge star for Wolfsburg in the 2008-2009 season in which he scored an amazing 26 goals in 32 league matches with 10 assists in the German Bundesliga and played a huge role in Wolfsburg's first ever German championship.

Edin Dzeko made his international debut for Bosnia against Turkey on June 2,2007 and scored too. He is now a regular for the Bosnian national football team.
