Lukasz Fabianski

Lukasz Fabianski is a young Polish international footballer who currently features for the Premiership giants Arsenal. He is a goalkeeper and is a second choice custodian at the Emirates.

Lukasz Fabianski commenced his professional career at modest Polish side Lech Poznan in 2004 but did not make any first team appearances for the club in the 2004-2005 season and was signed by Polish powerhouse Legia Warszawa in the summer of 2005.

He was a regular for the two seasons at Legia and was signed by Arsenal in the summer of 2007 on a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee. He made his debut for the Gunners in July 2007 in a pre-season friendly against Barnet, replacing Mauel Almunia at half-time and was the first choice custodian for Arsenal in their 2007-2008 Carling Cup.

Fabianksi made his Premiership debut for Arsenal in April 2008 against Derby County at Pride Park and played against Everton in early May. He also played against Sunderland in the final league match of the season.

He has been a Polish international goalkeeper since 2006 and has played 7 matches for his nation so far.
