Randy Moss is a wide receiver for the NFL's New England Patriots. The Minnesota Vikings in the 1998 NFL Draft chose Moss. The receiver played his college ball at Marshall University prior to being the 21st overall pick in the draft.

The six-foot-four, 210-pound Moss played for the Vikings for seven years. In 2005, he signed a deal with the Oakland Raiders. After two seasons with the Raiders, the talented wide out inked a deal with the New England Patriots.

Moss has been a durable athlete; over 10 years, he's played in all but six regular season games. During that time, he's made 774 receptions for 12,193 yards and 124 touchdowns. Moss has fumbled seven times but has not lost the ball in the past three seasons. His average catch is good for 15.8 yards. He's averaged about 1,200 yards per season.

Moss, who is amazingly athletic and acrobatic, is a fast and deceptive receiver, possessing the ability to break a game open at any time. He can stretch out and gather in a ball with ease and agility. On short pass plays the wide receiver can turn on the speed and moves, making a short route a long play. With the Vikings and Raiders, he was known for having a bad attitude and being a bad boy. But with the Pats, Moss became a team player, putting in his best effort in every play.

In 1998, he was the NFL Rookie of the year. He's been a Pro Bowler six times and an All-Pro four. In 2007, he became the only NFL player to have four 100-plus yard games in his first four contests with a new team. In that same year, he broke the NFL record for most touchdown passes caught in a season, breaking Jerry Rice’s former record of 22 by one catch.
