Hideki Okajima is a Japanese reliever on the Boston Red Sox.
Okajima is one of the most talented relievers in the game today, and is now the setup man for talented closer Jonathan Papelbon. His unique and unorthodox pitching style has helped him to disguise his pitches and give him an edge over the talented batters in the American League. After giving up a home run in his first MLB appearance, he then pitched for two months without allowing a single run. He won his first World Series ring with Boston in 2007, becoming the first Japanese pitcher to play in the World Series.
