Patrick Eaves is a Canadian American winger on the Detroit Red Wings.

Eaves was drafted 29th overall by Ottawa in 2003, and played his college hockey at Boston College. He joined Ottawa in 2005, scoring 20 goals in his rookie season. He was traded to Carolina in 2008, during an injury-plagued season which kept him to only 15 points. He scored only 14 points in the 2008-09 season, and was traded to Boston in the 2009 offseason, where the Bruins bought out his contract.
