Carlos Tevez, or "Apache" as he's sometimes called, is an Argentine football player who plays striker for Manchester United. He is a product of the youth club of Boca Juniors.
Carlos Tevez started to play football in the Argentinean Club All Boys in 1992. In 1997 Carlos changed team to Boca Juniors youth academy. In 2001 Carlos Tevez made his first team debut. With Boca Juniors he won the Argentine Championship and Copa Libertadores in 2003.In 2004 Carlos Tevez was elected Footballer of the year and Sportsman of the year by the Argentine Football Writers. In 2004 Carlos Tevez won the Olympic Games in Football with Argentina. Carlos Tevez played 75 games and scored 25 goals for Boca Juniors.
In 2004 Carlos Tevez was sold to the Brazilian football club Corinthians. The $20 million transfer was the biggest ever in South American football. Tevez became the team captain and Corinthians won the Brazilian league 2005. In 2005 Tevez was voted the best player in the Brazilian league by the Brazilian football federation. He played 38 games for Corinthians and scored 25 goals.
In 2006 Carlos Tevez signed on for the Premiership club West Ham United. He managed to help the club to escape relegation. Carlos played 26 games and scored 7 goals for the club.
