Tomasz Kuszczak

Tomasz Kuszczak is a Polish international footballer who currently features for the Premiership giants Manchester United. He plays as a goalkeeper.

Tomasz Kuszczak commenced his professional career with German side Hertha Berlin in 2000 and was on their books for four seasons until the summer of 2004. He was always the third choice at the Berlin club and failed to make a single appearance for them in the German Bundesliga.

English side West Bromwich Albion signed him in the summer of 2004 and played 31 league matches for them in two seasons. In the summer of 2006 Manchester United came calling and signed Kuszczak on loan for the 2006-2007 as understudy to Edwin van der Sar.

In the summer of 2007 he was signed by Man United on a four year contract. Tomasz Kuszczak made his debut for the Polish national football team in December 2003 against Malta in a game in which they won 4-0. He was a member of the Poland squad for the 2006 Germany World Cup.
