Mikael Silvestre is a French football player who plays defense for Manchester United and France.

Silvestre started his career in the French club Rennes 1995. He played 49 games for Rennes. In 1998 Mikael Silvestre was signed by the Italian club Inter Milan. He played 18 league games for Inter and 8 European Cup games.

In the 10th of September 1999 Mikael Silvestre was sold to Manchester United for £4 million. Silvestre has won 4 FA Premier Leagues the first one in 1999/2000. He has also won the FA Cup in 2004 and the League Cup in 2006.
