Danny Simpson

Daniel Peter “Danny” Simpson is an English football player who currently features for the Premiership and European powerhouse Manchester United. He plays as a defender.

Daniel Simpson is a product of the Manchester United youth system and rose through the ranks into the reserve squad in 2005. In 2006 he was sent on loan to Man United’s Belgian feeder club Royal Antwerp for experience and then in 2007 he was on loan to Sunderland. In 2008 Simpson played on loan for Ipswich Town.

Daniel Simpson signed a contract with Manchester United in August 2007 that would keep him at the clun until 2010. He made his competitive debut for Man United in September 2007 in a 2-0 Carling Cup defeat to Coventry City and made his Premier League debut in October 2007 against Wigan Athletic at Old Trafford.
