Nemanja Vidic is a Serbian international football player who currently features for the Premiership and European giants Manchester United. He plays as a centre-back.

Nemanja Vidic commenced his professional footballing career at Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade in 2000 and played for them until the summer of 2004 and played 66 league matches for the Serbian side. He played for Spartak Moscow in the summer of 2004 and featured in 39 league matches for the Russian giants for one and a half seasons.

In January 2006, Nemanja Vidic was signed by Manchester United for 7 million pounds and he soon settled into the first team and became a regular first choice centre-back for the club. He was arguably the best centre-back for Man United for the 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 seasons.

Nemanja Vidic made his international debut for erstwhile Yugoslavia in October 2002 against Italy in a Euro 2008 qualifier. He has since gone on to establish himself as a Serbian international.
