Offensive guard Terrence Metcalf has played six years with the NFL's Chicago Bears. The six-foot-four, 318-pound Metcalf was the 93rd pick overall in the third-round of the 2002 NFL Draft. Metcalf played his college football for the University of Mississippi.

Metcalf has the size to play either guard or center. He is fast enough to find his way to the front of a screen and make his block. Off the snap, he knows how to get the right angle on opponents and how to utilize his punch when coming off the ball. His quickness and first step serve him well. Metcalf can hit a moving target, handle linebackers and pick up stunts.

At times, he has trouble maintaining his balance and his hand skills are not as polished as they could be. His outside shoulder is vulnerable to gap-shooting defensive players and he can also have trouble setting his feet. Although he plants his anchor nicely, he has a tough time on quick counter-moves. Metcalf needs to work at playing more consistently and at developing his pass protection skills.
