Logan Mankins plays offensive line for the New England Patriots in the NFL. In 2005, he was the 32nd pick overall, going in the first round. Mankins played his college ball for Fresno State University.

In 2005, his first professional season, the 6-foot-4, 310-pound lineman started all 16 regular season games. In his first three seasons, he has not missed a game. He's known for being tough, competitive and intense. Mankins shows fine agility, good strength and a quick initial punch. His technique is not as refined as it could be, sometimes his footwork is lacking, but the lineman utilizes effective body positioning and leverage application. Mankins has performed consistently and passionately in this first three seasons.

In 2007, he was a Pro Bowl selection and second team All-Pro.
