Anders Per-Johan Axelsson is a Swedish winger on Frolunda HC.

Axelsson was drafted by Boston in 1995, and continued playing in the Elitserien with Frolunda HC until 1997. Axelsson never developed into a high profile scorer like many other Swedish forwards, but has been a fan favorite and was the longest serving member of the Bruins in 2009. His best season was in 2002-03, when he scored 17 goals and 19 assists for 36 points. In 11 seasons with the Bruins, Axelsson played in 797 games, scoring 103 goals and 287 points. In 2009, he signed a contract with his former Elitserien team, returning to Sweden for the 2009-10 season.

Axelsson has played for Sweden a number of times, winning a gold medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics. He also won 2 silver medals at the ’03 and ’04 World Championships, as well as 2 bronze medals at the ’02 and ’01 Championships.
