Travis Hansen is a professional basketball player from the United States who was chosen by Atlanta Hawks during the 2003 NBA draft, in the 2nd round. He was the 8th pick and overall 37th pick. He became famous for his outside shooting, vertical leap and defensive ability. After his stint with the Hawks was complete, he signed with Tau Vitoria in Spain. He assisted this team to reach the Spanish League finals and Euroleague Final Four.

In 2006, Dynamo Moscow, which was the ULEB Cup champion, signed a 2 year contract with Hansen. In the presence of Hansen, this team reached the Euroleague’s Top 16. Further, he suffered a torn Achilles tendon and was a member of the injured list. After recovering from his injury, he was back in action in the 2007-08 season. Dynamo attained 3rd place in the ULEB Cup. In this season, Hansen had an average of 3.3 rebounds per game and 17.5 points per game. His field goal percentage was 0.687 and 3-point field goal percentage was 0.463. In February 2008, his contract with MBC Dynamo Moscow was increased by 3 years.
