Brian Chase

Brian Matthew Chase studied at Virginia Tech and played college basketball from 1999 to 2003. In this period, he had an average of 1.9 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 10.9 points per game. Simultaneously, he obtained his degree in human services.

During the 2003 NBA draft, Chase was undrafted. During the 2004-05 season, he was a member of Maryland Nighthawks, an ABA team and participated in 13 games and had an average of 2.3 assists and 8.4 points. During the 2005-06 season, he was associated with Nebraska Cranes of United States Basketball League, Roanoke Dazzle of NBA Development League and Gary Steelheads of Continental Basketball Association.

He was signed by Utah Jazz during the 2006-07 NBA offseason. However, although he had not participated in a single regular season game, he was released. Further, he became a member of Los Angeles D-Fenders. Prior to the 2007-08 NBA season, he signed a contract with Miami Heat which was worth 1.4 million USD for 2 years. In 2008, he confirmed his transter to Besiktas Cola Turka, a Turkish club. Currently, he is a member of MBC Dynamo Moscow.

During his first year with Los Angeles D-Fenders, Brian Chase had an average of 3.9 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 16.7 points per game and in his second year with this team, he had an average of 3.6 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 16.8 points per game. He was a part of NBDL (NBA Development League) All-Star game.
