Michael Beasley

Michael Paul Beasley Jr. is an American professional basketball player who is linked with Miami Heat in the National Basketball Association. He occupies the spot of Forward. The 2008-09 season is Beasley’s first season in the NBA. During the 2008 NBA draft, he was chosen by Miami Heat in the 1st round. He was the 2nd pick and overall 2nd pick. On 2nd July 2008, he signed with the Heat. In his debut match, he got 23 playing minutes and recorded 2 assists, 9 rebounds and 28 points. He was fined 50,000 USD for his involvement in a marijuana incident at the Rookie Transition Program of the NBA during September 2008. His first preseason game was against the Detroit Pistons and he scored 16 points in it.
