Cesar Aparecido Rodrigues fan club
Cesar Aparecido Rodrigues, commonly known as Cesar, is a Brazilian footballer currently on the books of the Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan. Cesar usually plays as a left wing back.
Cesar started his career at CA Juventus, a small Sao Paulo team at the time. The club gained promotion to the first division in 1994 and were awarded prize money for this. But that money was stolen and Cesar was convicted in the scam after it was discerned that he had informed about the delivery of the money. He was sentenced to 5 years and 4 months of jail.
After coming out of prison, Cesar resumed his footballing career and was signed by the Italian side Lazio in the summer of 2001. He quickly became one of the fulcrums of the Lazio side and in 2006 was taken on board by Italian giants Inter Milan on a free transfer.
But he was sent back to Brazil and Corinthians on loan and was signed by Livorno, again on loan, in January 2007. Cesar was recalled to the Inter Milan squad at the start of the 2007-2008 season but after a few games at the beginning of the season, Cesar failed to make any impression and mostly warmed the bench for Inter Milan as the Nerazurri won their third consecutive scudetti in the 2007-2008 season.
Cesar has played twice for the Brazilian international but both those matches came way back in 2001.
