Vitor Hugo Gomes Passos

Vitor Hugo Gomes Passos is a young Portuguese midfielder who currently features for the Italian giants Inter Milan. He is a midfielder and is said to be a promising one too.

Pele started his playing career at the youth teams of Salgueiros in Porto but after a protracted financial fiasco in which Salgeeiros got relegated to the Portuguese second division and were put under administration, he was signed by Portuguese giants Benfica in the summer.

But Pele failed to settle at Benfica and in December 2005 signed up for Vitória Guimarães. In the summer of 2007 after a string of eye-catching performances, Pele was signed by Italian powerhouse Inter Milan on a 5-year contract.

Pele made his debut for Inter Milan against Sampdoria in the Italian Serie A in September 2007 and scored his first goal for the Nerazzurri in the Coppa Italia semi-final against Lazio.

Pele features regularly in the Portugal U21 national side.
