Aranza Salut

Aranza Salut is a professional tennis player from Argentina who plays for both the Women's Tennis Association and the International Tennis Federation. She was born on July 12, 1991 in Rosario, Argentina and started playing tennis when she was only seven years old. Her favorite move is the double handed backhand. She is a right handed player who prefers hard surface. Aranza is currently coached by Edgardo Massa-Carlos Musis. Now, at seventeen years old, Aranza has come far and is out to represent the best of what Argentina has to offer in the sport of tennis.

Aranza has not yet played a match for the 2009 season. In the professional ranking, Aranza ranks at 462 for the singles circuit, her highest rank which was on February 2, 2009. She also currently ranks 567 in the doubles circuit which was also on February 2, 2009. Her junior ranking is better and stands at number 87 but she has faired better on January 5, 2009 when she ranked at number 31. In the ITF Pro Circuit, Aranza has a career singles record of 33 wins and 19 losses. She has 19 wins and 9 losses in her career doubles record. Aranza currently has no career Grand Slam titles yet to her record.

Aranza's latest buzz in her career for 2009 is her participation in the Fed Cup. She forms part of the Argentinian team which is made up of players such as Gisela Dulko, Betina Jozami and Soledad Esperon. They will be up against the US Fed Cup team composed of Bethanie Mattek, Jill Craybas, Melani Oudin and Liezel Huber.
