Balachandra Akhil

Balachandra Akhil is a cricketer representing Karnataka in Ranji Trophy and the other matches played on state-level. He is known as an all-rounder. Akhil was signed by Royal Challengers Bangalore in the year 2008.

Balachandra Akhil went on to make his debut in ‘First-Class’ cricket in the year 1998. Since then, he hasn’t looked back. IPL has been a big opportunity for him in the true sense as that was the first time he played on the international level. The latest match played by him on this count was the one against Mumbai Indians on 28th of May, 2008; wherein Akhil was out on 5. Mumbai Indians won this match by 9 wickets with 12 balls to spare. The best feature of Akhil’s game is his strike rate (around 150).
