Sergio Claudio dos Santos fan club
Sergio Claudio dos Santos, most commonly known as Serginho, is a Brazilian footballer who featured for the Italian powerhouse AC Milan but announced his retirement from football at the end of the 2007-2008 season. He played as a winger and had collected 10 international caps for the Brazilian national team.
Serginho commenced his professional club football at modest Brazilian side Itaperuna in 1992 and after arching through big Brazilian clubs like Flamengo, Cruzeiro and São Paulo, he moved to Italian superpower AC Milan in 1999 and has been in the red and black half of Milan ever since.
Serginho had mostly been a fringe player in all these years at Milan but he had been a very important utility substitute. He scored Milan's first penalty against Juventus in the UEFA Champions League final penalty-shootout in 2003 but missed during a similar circumstance against Liverpool in the 2007 Champions League final.
Serginho retired from football altogether at the end of the 2007-2008 season.
