Christopher Steve Mihm is an American professional basketball player. As a youngster, Mihm was ranked amongst the top tennis players in his age group (14-years) but went onto play basketball at the University of Texas at Austin. The all-time leader in blocked shots, Mihm currently ranks second in rebounds and double-doubles in the school's history.

In 2000, the Chicago Bulls picked Mihm at 7th overall in the NBA Draft and immediately traded him out to the Cleveland Cavaliers. In his first season, Mihm missed 26 games due to three separate injuries however he started 60 of the 74 games in the second season. Injuring his left hamstring in his third season with the Cavaliers, Mihm missed the first 27 games of the season and after another disappointing fourth year at the Cavaliers, he was traded out to the Boston Celtics.

At the Celtics, Mihm mainly played the role of a reserve center for Mark Blount and played 54 games for the team. In the off-season, the Los Angeles Lakers brought him in along with Chucky Atkins and Jumaine Jones. Gary Payton and Rick Fox went the other way along with a future first draft pick.

In his very first season with the Lakers, Mihm was a starter in 75 games, missing 7 due to injury and illness. He averaged 10.2 points in his second season and missed 17 regular season and the entire playoff games due to injury to his shoulder. Injury to his right ankle required major surgery and that led to Mihm sitting out of the entire third year with the Lakers. At the end of the 2006-07 season, Mihm became a free-agent and was resigned by the Los Angeles Lakers after being passed over by the Chicago Bulls.
