Owen Hargreaves is an English football player who plays for Manchester United. He joined the team from Bayern Munich for which he played between 2000-2007. Owen has British parents which migrated to Canada in the eighties from England. At the age of sixteen Owen move from Calgary to Bayern Munich youth team. In 2000 Owen made his first team debut. In 2000 he also won the Champions League with Bayern. With Bayern Owen Hargreaves won the Bundesliga four times. In 2007 Owen Hargreaves was sold to Manchester United for £17 million. Owen had been on Fergusons wish list for several years. Owen made his debut in Premier League in the 1-0 defeat against Manchester City. Owen Hargreaves was England Player of the Year in 2006. He has 39 caps for the English national team.
