Munaf Patel

Munaf Patel is a right handed batsman and right arm medium fast bowler who plays for the Indian cricket team. He has also played for Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Indian Board President’s XI, India Green, Gujarat and Asia XI.

Patel played his first Test match on 9th March 2006 at Mohali against England. In the 1st innings, he bowled 25 overs, out of which 6 were maidens, conceded 72 runs and took 3 wickets. He scored unbeaten 11 runs in 11 deliveries. In the 2nd innings, he bowled 13 overs, out of which 4 were maidens, conceded 25 runs and took 4 wickets. He did not bat in this innings. India won this match by 9 wickets. Patel debuted in One day Internationals on 3rd April 2006 at Margao against England. In this match, he bowled 8 overs, none of which were maidens, conceded 47 runs and could not take a wicket. He did not get a chance to bat. India won this match by 49 runs.
