Mark Recchi is a Canadian hockey player who plays right wing forward in Pittsburgh Penguins. He was drafted by the Penguins in 1988 and has been a solid performer ever since. He has participated in seven All-Star Games and was the All-Star MVP in 1997. He won his first Stanley Cup in 1991 (with the Penguins) and the second in 2006 (with the Hurricanes). He holds the Philadelphia Flyers record for most points scored in a single season.
Recchi has been awarded with the honour "Kamploops Male Athlete of the 20th Century" and has had a street named "Mark Recchi Way" in his home town.
To date Recchi has scored more than 1,300 points and 500 goals in his almost 20-year career.
