German Denis

German Gustavo Denis is an Argentine international football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Napoli. He plays as a striker.

German Denis commenced his professional football career at Argentine side Talleres in 1997. He subsequently went on to play for Quilmes, Los Andes and Cesena. He featured for Argentine club Arsenal de Sarandi between 2003 and 2005 an scored 13 goals in 54 matches. He scored 11 goals in 36 matches for Colon and was impressive in his two seasons at Independiente, scoring 37 goals in 70 league fixtures.

In the summer of 2008 German Denis was signed by Italian Serie A club Napoli for a transfer fee of 6.3 million euros. He has gone onto become a first team regular for Napoli and has already started exhibiting his goal scoring tenacity in the Italian first division.

German Denis made his international debut for Argentina in 2004.
