Kurt Sauer is an America defenseman on the Phoenix Coyotes.
Sauer was drafted by Colorado in 2000, but did not sign with the Avs. Instead he signed with Anaheim, where he turned in two seasons from 2002-04. He signed with Colorado after the lockout, and played with the Avalanche through 2008, when he signed a four year deal with Phoenix.
