Lubomir Visnovsky is a Slovakian defenseman on the Edmonton Oilers.
Visnovsky was drafted by Los Angeles in 2000. He played well immediately upon entering the NHL, finishing his rookie season with 7 goals and 39 points. In 2005-06, he set career highs with 50 assists and 67 points, as well as 42 penalty minutes. He was traded to Edmonton in 2008.
Visnovsky has played for Team Slovakia at a number of international competitions, including World Championships, World Cups, Winter Olympics and Inline Hockey Championships. He won a gold medal at the 2002 World Championships, a silver at the 2000 World Championships, a bronze at the 2003 World Championships, and a silver at the 2008 World Inline Hockey Championships.
