After playing his college football for Miami (Ohio) University, wideout Ryne Robinson was chosen by the Carolina Panthers as the 118th pick in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
In four seasons with the Miami Redhawks, Robinson amassed 3,607 receiving yards and 1,677 punt return yards. He made a total of 258 catches. His punt return yards are second-most of any NCAA player.

It's difficult for him to get clear off the line and although he possesses good quickness, he is not exceptionally fast. He can make the catch in the air but prefers to make it close to his body. He is the team's premier return man. He's an excellent kick fielder and has a fine burst after making the catch. He's got the moves to make the first tackler miss, and he shows fine open field running skills. He has the potential to develop into a return breakout threat.
