Sam Gagner is a Canadian center on the Edmonton Oilers.
Gagner was drafted 6th overall in 2007, by the Oilers, after playing in the OHL with the London Knights. He joined the Oilers in 2007, finishing with 13 goals and 49 points in 79 games. Gagner gained added popularity for his prolific ability to score in shootouts, with a nearly unstoppable combination of moves.
Gagner played for Team Canada at the 2007 World Junior Championships and the 2008 World Championships, winning gold in 2007 and silver in 2008.
