Rod Brind'Amour is a Canadian hockey player who plays for the Carolina Hurricanes. He wears the nickname Rod the Bod for his constant workout sessions at Michigan State University.
Brind'Amour was drafted by the St. Louis Blues in 1988 and was traded to
the Philadelphia Flyers in 1990, he became one of the team's most important players and was alternate captain. In the Hurricanes he has been captain since 2005.
Brind'Amour scored his 1,000th career point in Ferbruary 2007 via his 400th career goal.
