Aaron Ramsey

Aaron James Ramsey is a teenage Welsh football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Arsenal. He plays as a central midfielder but is versatile enough to play as a winger or as a fullback and is reputed to be one of the best young players in Wales.

Aaron Ramsey commenced his football career at Welsh club Cardiff City and developed rapidly through the club’s youth academy. He made his first team debut for Cardiff against Hull City in the last home game of the 2006-2007 Championship season and at 16 years and 124 days became the youngest player ever to play for Cardiff City.

Aaron Ramsey signed his first professional contract with Cardiff City in December 2007 and made his first full professional debut for the club on January 5,2008. He went to make a total of 16 league appearances for Cardiff in the 2007-2008 season and was hugely impressive in the FA Cup matches that he featured in.

Aaron Ramsey was signed by Arsenal in the summer of 2008 for 4.8 million pounds. He made his competitive first team debut for the Gunenrs against FC Twente in a UEFA Champions League qualifier and made his Premier League debut against Blakcburn Rovers in September 2008.
