Bev Brentnall a.k.a. Beverley Brentnall was a Right handed batsman and a Wicketkeeper with the New Zealand Women’s Cricket team. She has also played for the North Shore Women’s team.

Brv Brentnall made her debut in International cricket in a Test match against the England Women’s team at 1966 in Scarborough. In the first innings, Brentnall scored 6 runs and was caught out by Rachael Heyhoe- Flint off a ball Eileen Vigor. Brentnall did not come out to bat in the second innings as the match ended in a draw. When Brentnall played her first One day International in 1973 against the Trinidad & Tobago Women’s team at St Albans, she also became the first One day International captain of the New Zealand Women’s team. She scored 18 runs and was bowled by Jane Joseph. Brentnall made two stumpings and caught Beverly Browne behind the wicket to help New Zealand win the match by 136 runs. She played her last One day match against the Young England Women’s team at Eastbourne in 1973.
