Mamady Sidibe is a Malian international football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Stoke City. He plays as a striker.

Mamady Sidibe commenced his footballing career at CA Paris-Charenton on France and was signed by Welsh club Swansea City in August 2001. He played for Swansea for one season, scoring 7 goals in 31 league fixtures.

Mamady Sidibe was then signed by Gillingham in 2002 and he scored 10 goals in 106 league matches for them between 2002 and 2005. At the end of the 2004-2005 season, when Gillingham were relegated, Sidibe refused to sign a new contract and moved to Stoke City. He became a regular at Stoke but struggled for goals.

So far Mamady Sidibe has featured in over 122 league matches but goals have been hard to come by. In October 2001 he was stabbed by a spectator while he was playing for Mali against Togo.

Mamady Sidibe scored four goals in 33 appearances for Stoke in the 2007-2008 season and played an important role in Stoke’s promotion to the Premiership.
