Danny Pugh

Danny Pugh is an English football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Stoke City. He plays as a midfielder.

Danny Pugh started his professional club football at Premier League and European giants Manchester United. He was on their books from 2002 to 2004 but could play only 1 Premiership match.

In 2004, Danny Pugh was signed by Leeds United and he played for 50 league matches for Leeds and scored 5 goals. He could play on the left side of the midfield and the defence and progressed to be an important part of the Leeds team in those two years.

Danny Pugh was signed by Preston North End in June 2006 for 250,000 pounds and scored 4 goals in 52 league matches for them in two seasons. After a loan with Stoke City in 2007-2008, he was signed by the club on a permanent deal. Danny Pugh has developed to be a regular for Stoke since his signing.
