Tom Soares started his footballing career at Crystal Palace after progressing through the club’s youth academy. He made his debut for Palace in 2003 and played for them regularly until 2008. He has scored 11 goals in 152 league matches and although he started as a central midfielder, he played as a right winger.
Tom Soares was signed by Stoke City in the summer of 2008 although he performed well for Palace under Neil Warnock in the 2007-2008 season. He is a young player and is expected to catch the eye in the Premier League in the 2008-2009 season.
