Patrik Elias plays left wing and captain in New Jersey Devils. He was drafted by the team in 1994 and made his debut in the NHL in 1995. He was part of the team that won the Stanley Cup in 1999/00 and in 2002/03. Elias is the first European born captain in the team's history. In 1997/98 he was named for the All-Rookie team and since then he has played in two All-Star Games and been named for the First All-Star team once. In addition, he won the Olympic Bronze with the Czech Republic in 2006.
