Rob Niedermayer plays center forward and alternate captain along with his brother captain Scott Niedermayer in Anaheim Ducks. He was drafted by the Florida Panthers in 1993. In 1996 he did his best season and against all odds sent the team to the playoffs and the Stanley Cup where they eventually fell to the Colorado Avalanche. In 2003 he helped Anaheim to an identical feat when they made the playoffs and the final where they lost to the New Jersey Devils.
