Christijan Albers is a Dutch racer who drives for the British outfit Spyker F1. He started out in kart and won the Dutch championship in 1997 and moved on to win the German Formula 3 series in 1999. In 2003 he finished runner-up in the DTM. In 2005 he was confirmed as the first driver for Midland F1 and kept that position when Spyker bought the team.
