Craig Anderson is an American goalie on the Colorado Avalanche.
Anderson was drafted by Chicago in 2001. He spent three seasons in Chicago as a backup netminder, appearing in 56 games for the Blackhawks. He was traded to Florida in 2006, and has been solid in backup duties for the past two seasons. He holds the NHL record for most saves in a single shutout with 53, as well as most saves in consecutive shutouts with 93. In 2008-09, Anderson went 15-7 for the Panthers, while recording a 2.71 GAA. Anderson was signed by Colorado during the 2009 offseason, and is expected to be named the team's starting goalie for the 2009-10 season.
Anderson played for Team USA at the 2008 World Championships.
