Adrian Aucoin is a Canadian defenseman on the Phoenix Coyotes.

Aucoin was drafted in 1992 by the Vancouver Canucks, where he broke into the league and began to make a name for himself as a talented defenseman. In 1997-98, he tied an NHL record with 18 powerplay goals. He was traded to the New York Islanders in 2001, after playing 26 games with Tampa Bay at the end of the 2000-01 season. While in New York, he put up 34, 35 and 44 points over his three seasons there. He played with MODO hockey in the Swedish Elitserien during the lockout, and signed with Chicago after the lockout. He suffered a number of injuries after being named team captain, and was traded to Calgary in 2007. Aucoin returned to form in Calgary, finishing the season with 10 goals and 35 points. Aucoin matched his numbers from 2007 in '08-09, finishing with 10 goals and 34 points, as well as 46 penalty minutes, helping the Flames reach the playoffs, where they were eliminated by Chicago in the first round. He signed with the Phoenix Coyotes on the first day of free agency in 2009.

Aucoin played for Team Canada at the 1993 World Junior Championships, the 1994 Winter Olympics, where he won a silver medal, and the 2000 World Championships.
