He joined the Bruins in 2005-06, and played two seasons, before being traded to the Capitals at the 2007 trade deadline. He played a career high 75 games in 2007-08, logging around 16:38 minutes of ice time a game.
Jurcina played for Slovakia at the 2006 Winter Olympics.
