Marcus Vick is a quarterback and wide receiver who went undrafted in the 2006 NFL Draft. Vick, who is the younger brother of quarterback Michael Vick, played for Virginia Tech. He has had numerous run-ins with the law including criminal convictions for marijuana, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and disorderly conduct. He's also been charged with molestation of a minor, fraud and various traffic violations.
Vick was constantly in trouble at Virginia Tech and in 2006 the school released him due to various incidents involving unsportsmanlike conduct and numerous problems with the law. In one year with the Dolphins in 2006, he played in one game. He has accumulated no professional football statistics.
As a quarterback, Vick has good speed and is an agile athlete. His timing and efficiency are fine, and he can make all of the throws necessary to play in the NFL. He can also pass accurately while on the run. Vick is also a threat at receiver. His speed, ability to run crisp routes and open field savvy are all positives. If he can become disciplined both off and on the field, the multi-dimensional player could have a solid future in the NFL. He is presently an unsigned free agent.
