Wide receiver Deion Branch played his college ball for the Louisville Cardinals and in 2002 was drafted by the New England Patriots. He was the 65th pick overall in the second round of the NFL Draft.

Branch played with the Patriots from 2002-2005. In 2006, in the midst of a contract dispute with New England, he was traded to the Seattle Seahawks; his present team.

In six seasons, Branch has appeared in 78 games, catching 315 passes for 4,130 yards (13.1 YPC) and 22 touchdowns. Branch has never fumbled. He's a two-time Super Bowl Champion (XXXVIII, XXXIX) and in 2005 he was chosen Super Bowl MVP.

Although only five-foot-nine and 193 pounds, Branch plays bigger than he is. He's an explosive player, who uses his quickness and speed to get off the line of scrimmage and past defenders. He's also quite agile and able to make big catches and turn them into long gains. An exacting route runner, Branch possesses a fine burst that allows him to separate from defenders. His size prohibits him from being effective in the middle or when in the red zone. He works extremely hard and possesses an amazing array of intangibles. As of late, he's been hampered by injuries and durability has become an issue.
