Randor Bierd was born on March 14, 1984 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is a relief pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles.

Randor is 6' 4", weighs 190 pounds, and bats and throws right.

High School
Randor attended Liceo Hara Nacionale in Santo Domingo.

Minor Leagues
Bierd was signed by the Detroit Tigers as an undrafted free agent on June 3, 2003. He came up through the Tigers' minor league organization.

On December 6, 2007, Randor was selected by the Baltimore Orioles as the third overall pick in the major league phase of the Rule 5 draft.

Randor made the Orioles' 2008 opening day roster as a relief pitcher. He made his major league debut on April 2, 2008, against the Tampa Bay Rays, and pitched two scoreless innings. (Shortly afterwards he was put on the 15-day DL, and then re-activated on July 19, 2008).
